Our House System

 

 

In our school we have four houses which are called Cleuch,  Craigleith, Ochil  and  Dumyat . Once a month the houses meet up together for a House Meeting.  Children can earn House Points for behaviour and work effort and once a month we hold a whole school assembly where the House Winners are announced.  They can also earn points for wearing their school uniform and their school badge.  In order to encourage healthy eating, house points can also be given for bringing a healthy snack to school.  Whichever house has the most points wins!  After we have found out who has won the cup, the winning house sings their house song.
Each house has designed its own banner in their house colour. The House display boards are displayed in the link corridor.

 

Twice a year each house votes for their House Captain and House Vice Captain.  In January the following primary 7 children were elected:

All captains and vice captains signed a contract which explains what their role is in the school.  These are also on display in the link corridor.
